The Local is the vision of a Boone family who wanted to create a space where family & friends can come to relax and have fun. We are committed to working together with our local community, to support, encourage each other by choosing local first, whenever possible. Guests can enjoy a meal crafted in-house from fresh ingredients, play a game of billiards, meet with friends for drinks and appetizers in our comfortable lounge area, or watch their favorite sports teams on large flat screen TVs.
The Local offers lunch, dinner and late-night selections, highlighting unique dishes created from fresh ingredients grown across the high country. The menu at The Local will vary seasonally to support as many local goods as possible.

The Local will continue to grow and change, through our focus of community and as ideas evolve. To start, The Local has begun a local artist-collective gallery on their walls where local artists feature their work for sale. All proceeds from the sale of art go to the artists. The Local is also planning to host monthly local charity events. The ideas are endless and we are excited to see what comes next!
For many years to come, The Local hopes to be a place where people can come together to enjoy fresh, in-house crafted, reasonably priced meals and fun times in a casual, comfortable atmosphere appealing to all ages, families and professionals alike.
